Statement from Emiley

“My most important qualifier is that I am a real person who has loved, lost, grieved, hurt, feared, hoped, wanted, needed, and dared to step forward into my own healing journey. Like many who find themselves in therapy, I too have experienced some of the difficult, the bad, and the ugly life has to offer and I’m no stranger to struggle. However, I was fortunate to have had the opportunity and the resources to see the beauty that can exist on the other side of healing. It is the greatest privilege and honor to be both professionally and personally lead the way for my clients.”

Yajaira Escobedo MS, LMSW, LCDC

“All individuals despite their experiences are worthy of happiness and great health and my goal is to help you reach that potential. With my experience and curiosity of the mind, I aim to help you understand the how and the why of your thoughts. I strive to always stay up to date with the most current treatment trends to help provide the best outcomes for you.

It is important that I offer versatile tools and do my part to ensure your success as the pursuit of this “happiness” does take work from both ends. With me, you have a teammate who will always provide their part and work with you to reach your idea of success.”

Her experience working in child protective services, 13 year US Army combat veteran, and a former high school teacher has paved a path in helping the individual heal from past and current wounds. She uses a holistic approach where she uses traditional and nontraditional treatments to help the individual as a whole. Yajaira was trained in Amino Acid Therapy by nationally known author Julia Ross of the book “The Mood Cure”. Where she assesses chemical imbalances in the brain based on symptoms and recommends a diet and or supplements to treat anxiety and/or depression without medication.

An approach that can reduce phobias, panic attacks, and other negative feelings in as little as one session. Yajaira believes in using different modalities to reach the clients goal therefore she understands the importance of learning the newest evidence based practices.

Statement from Yajaira Escobedo

“Leaving the military after 13 years of service I had a hard time transitioning to civilian life. Additionally I had a lot of trauma before and during my military experience. I didn’t know what was happening to me until I met a former military veteran who was a therapist who helped me recognize I was not alone and helped me thrive instead of survive. That torch was then passed on to me. I now continue my soul purpose of service to my country by leaving behind the battle field (mentally) and help people get control of their life, understand their grief, and find a balance in their life. “
